Legislative Issues
MFRW President Patt Parker and MD State Party Chairman, Jim Pelura did a great job of organizing the Protest Rally and other activities at Lawyers’ Mall yesterday. There was a large and vocal group of participants from across the state. RWLC members who participated in the rally included: Judy MacWilliams, Ella Ennis, Marilyn Quinn, Frank Grasso, Betty Figgins Hill and Joyce Thomann. We spotted CCRCC Chair Frank McCabe in the crowd as well. Joyce was passing out lollypop suckers with labels that said “no new taxes” ‘Reduce Spending”.
Our Republican legislators are firmly with us to oppose any increased taxes. Let’s support them by contacting all the Democrats and let them know that we are opposed to increased taxes and spending.
